Mrs. Savita Sondhi

Assistant Professor, M. Tech (Communication Systems)

Mrs. Savita Sondhi joined ITM, Gurgaon as Sr.Lecturer in ECE& EI Dept in 2005 .She has done her B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunication in 1998 from Nagpur University. She has done her M.Tech (Communication Systems) from Rajasthan University. Her M.Tech thesis was based on “Sensor design for non destructive estimation of Iron embedded in concrete structures”. Following her graduation she joined as Lecturer in Shri Ramdeo Baba Kamla Nehru Engg College. In 2000 she joined Christian College of Engg & Technology and served for 3.5 yrs.Her area of specialization is DSP, Wireless Communication and Optical Fiber communication. She has also presented Paper on Speech Recognition in national level conference (Technologia-2002) and won First Position. Here in ITM she has contributed to the development of Optical Communication Lab and prepared the lab manual for M.E. Course. Besides her teaching she is also a member of CAEP(Center of Academic Excellence & Planning) and is a life member of ISTE. She can perfectly handle subjects like DSP, Wireless Communication, Optical communication systems, Analog Electronics, EEM&SC, and ADSP. She has a total work experience 6yrs.Her research area is Multirate signal processing (Designing of Filter Bank).
