Dr. Rashmi Tyagi

M.SC. (BOTANY), B.H.U., VARANASI , PH.D (BOTANY), BHU, VARANASI

She has done her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Botany from B.H.U., Varanasi and now working here as Assistant Professor in Applied Sciences & Humanities Department and tachng Biotechnology and Environmental Sciences to 1st year B.E. students. Prior to joining this Institute, she was involved in teaching and research in Division of Microbiology, IARI, New Delhi for more than 10 years. She has published/ presented 11 research papers in various International / National Journals / Conferences and also contributed a chapter in a book. Her areas of interest are blue-green algae, UV-B radiation and mutagenesis.
