Praveen Kumar Gupta

B.Tech., M.Tech.(Computer Science), M.B.A.(Finance)

Praveen Gupta joined ITM in February2007 as Assistant Professor, CSE & IT department. Currently he is heading the training and placement cell. He did his post graduation in computer science and also completed his M.B.A.(Finance).
His total experience is of more than 15 years, out of which more than 10 years were spent with the industry and about 5 years in the academics. He has attended many national level seminars and conferences, presented papers and edited/compiled books for undergraduate programs.

He has coordinated many faculty development programs including exposure to open source softwares e.g.eclipse, db2, websphere etc. Also training on IBM's rational (Test Manager) suite was successfully completed. He was core team member of the Infosys' campusconnect program. His industry-academic alliance has proved quite useful for the placement of the students.
