Mahendra Singh
PH.D.ELECTRONICS & ELECTRICAL COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING
Prior to his appointment with the Institute, Prof. Mahendra Singh
served as Professor of Information Technology at Institute of Informatics
and Communication, New Delhi. He has also served as Associate Professor
at IIT, Kharagpur.
He has extensive teaching experience at the undergraduate and postgraduate
level in India and overseas. He is specialist in teaching Computer
Architecture; Database Management, Computer Graphics, Multimedia and
Modeling and Simulation and Performance Evaluation.
A member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
U.S.A and Institution of Engineers, Prof. Mahendra Singh has been a
recipient of the J. C. Bose Memorial Award for the development of Zone
-Plate Antenna. In addition to submitting several research papers at
international conferences, he has over 15 publications to his credit.
Prof Mahendra Singh has also served as a Visiting Professor at Berkeley
University, California; Advanced Computer Centre, Lafayette; Rice University,
Houston; Amherst University, Massachusetts, USA; Austin University
of Texas, Austin, U.S.A; Technical University, Norway, Oslo; Polytechnic,
Brooklyn, New York and at Ghent University, Ghent, Belgium.
He has guided more than 50 projects at the post-graduate and undergraduate
level. He also enjoys the distinction of heading several projects sponsored
by Defence Research Development Organisation, Government of India and
the Department of Electronics, Government of India in the areas of
Microwave antennas; Telemetry antennas and millimeter wave antennas
and transmission.
