Mr. Jagadish Shivhare, joined ITM,Gurgaon on 05 September 2003 after taking Voluntary Retirement from Indian Space Research Organization (SAC/ISRO/DOS,Govt.of India),Ahmedabad Centre (Gujarat).

During his 20 years services in ISRO (Aug. 1983 – Aug. 2003), he was actively involved in many National and International R & D projects for ground and space applications. He had designed and developed various types of RF/Microwave Devices(including High Temperature Superconductive Filters), Sub-systems and Systems for different types of Receiving terminals, Earth stations and Communication Satellites such ISTRAC, DRS, TVRO, IMESS, INSAT, INMARSAT, GPS, Radio Astron (A joint Venture of 13 countries, including India ) etc.

He was invited as a Session Chairman by International Conference on Superconductivity (ICS-2000), USA for his design and development work on “High Temperature Superconductive Devices”. He is a Distinguished Scientist/Engr. and Member of Research Board of Advisors(DMRBA), USA, Fellow Member(Life) of IETE, IEI and Senior Member(Life) of IEEE, ISTE, CSI, BES, ISRS, SEE, IYHA and Indian Science Congress Association(ISCA).

He has presented many technical papers in National and International Conferences held in India, USA, Denmark, Sweden, Japan, Singapore, Australia, and Brazil. He has received Dr. B. R. Ambedakar Medals (2) for excellent presentations in Hindi and English.

His recent paper has been published in “Superconductor science and technologies”, Bristol U.K. A few more technical papers are under consideration for publication in National/International Conference Proceedings/ technical reviews/journals/Science magazines.

He was Secretary General of IETE Mid-term National Symposium, (April-2000), Honorary Secretary (1999-2001) and Member of Executive Committee (2001-2003) at IETE Centre, Ahmedabad. He possesses more than 100 Certificates for various extra activities such as Technical model competition, technical /non technical papers, quiz, essay writing, debates, poetry, slogans, extempore, brain wave competition. etc.
