Placement and Assistance

Placement and industrial training are accorded high priority. A Placement, training and industry interaction cell is available to students for information, counseling and assistance. Regular seminars are organised where captains of industry project the latest technological and market trends as also, job opportunities. Summer training is monitored through seminars and viva-voce.

AVL Fellowship

To promote excellence in Technical education, AVL India has decided to award an annual AVL Fellowship, for five years, to the most meritorious student admitted to ITM, to study for a Bachelor of Engineering degree awarded by Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The gross value of AVL Fellowship is limited to Rs. 50,000.00 per annum, that shall be disbursed directly to the Institute to cover the tuition and other fees for the first year of the Bachelor of Engineering degree.

The most meritorious student, each year, shall be ascertained by his/her Merit Rank in the AIEEE 2006, conducted by CBSE in session 2006-07

Information Technology Environment

On-campus Internet facility is available on a self financed basis to enable students to pursue their studies in an environment of global information technology irrespective of the disciplines of their studies. A collaborative tie-up is being explored, to create and promote an IT-environment at the institute.

Industrial Visits

Exposure to selective industrial sites are planned specially for higher classes in each discipline as a part of the activity of professional societies formed by students. The following Extra - Curricular Activity societies have been formed with faculty and student participation.
